Who Should Take This Test:
The French Sentence Structure Test is designed for linguists, language professionals, teachers, editors, and advanced students who are native speakers of French and who are very familiar with the mechanics and structure of the French language.
Non-native speakers and non-professionals may find this test too challenging and may prefer to take the French Grammar Test.
What the Test Is About:
The questions on this multiple-choice test deal with the structure of the French language and are technical in nature. Topics covered include parts of speech and their functions, parts of a sentence, clauses, conjunctions and connectors, verb moods and tenses, reflexive verbs, passive and active voice, direct and indirect speech, types of sentences, and structure and syntax. | | Duration | 40 minutes.
